I've been running Lion (10.7.2) on a MacBook Air that I've had since October, 2011. I print statements from my brokerage each month online. October and November printed fine, but December did not. According to the brokerage's web team, they haven't changed anything, but other Mac users have reported the same problem. They maintain that it's an Apple problem...
In the past, I simply clicked on the web site's Monthly Statement link, and if I recall correctly, an Adobe Reader window started up. I clicked on the printer icon, and it printed. Now, when I click on the link, a new window opens, but there are no icons and no indication of Adobe or whatever. All 5 or 6 pages of the monthly statement appear in the unnamed window, but the window has no icons at all, let alone a printer icon. The program bar at the top of the screen still shows Safari, but File doesn't list Print. It just has something called Print Largest Frame. This prints the first page of my statement and part of the 2nd on 1 sheet.
Based on a thread in MacRumors Forums, I deleted the Adobe plugin (and even the Adobe app), rebooted, and had the same problem.
Any ideas?
