Safari not saving window state

Hi

Every time i launch safari with Tahoe 26.1 , the window fills a quarter of the screen instead of filling the whole desktop (not fullscreen mode).

Why doesn't it stay the same ?

I'm on a macbook pro 16" M1 pro

You probably tiled the app. Safari 26.1 doesn't relaunch in full screen but in last known window size and position.

I've twice seen the same on Safari after waking the computer from sleep on 15.7.2.

One of two Safari windows on external screen are a quarter of the screen, instead of half the screen as it was when it went to sleep.
