OneStat just released figures showing Safari now has 1.21% of global share of browser usage.
Not bad considering it is Mac-only and Mac's supposedly only have 3% or so market share. Put another way, Safari has 40% of the Mac browser share, which is pretty impressive considering that Apple took quite a risk by not using the established Mozilla core, so compatibility could have been a major problem. At 40% it must be working for a lot of folks.
