Safari on Leopard

I mistakenly deleted Safari on my mac and when I try to Download it it says that I cannot install Safari on this HD because there is a newer version of safari on my mac . But i have no contents of safari on my mac !

I guess you tried to update through Software Update.

You can download Safari for Leopard here and Install manually.

No I tried to download it through firefox

Did you just delete the Safari.app? If it's not still in your trash then grab it out of Time Machine and it'll still work (it's perfectly safe to restore "system" apps with TM).

Well I don't use TM and when I came to the final part of the installation after i restarted Safari was only a Disk image and it would create a cycle. How could I get the final app?!

After I keot my machine off for a day it installed on its own
