Safari open tabs from iOS devices do not show and vice versa

I have two iPads and an iPhone running the latest update and here devices see open tabs on the other iOS devices though I also have two Macs running Catalina and they do not seem to see open tabs on the other Macs or on the iOS devices. What if anything can be done?
