I spend a LOT of time using Beejive on my iphone for IM so I am pretty much more accustomed to the shortcuts on the iPhone now than my iMac. I notice myself not using periods when I jump back on the iMac and double spacing the end of the sentence expecting it to do it for me. Force of habit.

Is there a script or action that can be used to make Safari act like the iPhone interface and auto insert a period after a double space? I'd normally not be too concerned, but I spend so much time on the go mobile that for the first time in forever I am more accustomed to a mobile interface than my standard Safari browser on my iMac.

"Train your brain" I suppose.

Has anyone figured this out? I'm also interested, but in an app that will change it system wide on Leopard. Or Snow Leopard.
