Hi all.

I usually run two windows in Safari, both full screen and switch between them on the fly. Now, this only happens occasionally but mainly with MR when it does occur.

Say I've just read an article from the MR front page and swipe to my unrelated other, and with content fully opened window. Quite often one complete sentence from MR appears to overlay itself on the other window. I then must click anywhere on screen and the sentence disappears immediately.

It's not so much a problem but occasionally an annoyance. The reason has now turned into curiosity and after starting this thread, hopefully into a solution.

Here's an example picture. An article on MR about a 'Ventura public beta release'. Swiped to next window of a picture of a car whose brakes had failed. The previous sentence was superimposed (or rather never left) and onto the car pic.

The timing of the two was purely coincidental and should just be seen with some light humour. I did in no way attempt to make this happen.

I'm using a patched Catalina version at 10.15.7, Safari 15.6.1., and my sig shows the MBP in use.

Any takers of how and why this happens?

Cheers

Wow, that's ominous. I'm sure hoping it's not a car wreck, but who knows. Still, funny...
