The function on safari in which you type a word in the address bar and it finds that word for you on the page isn’t working properly after the iOS 13 update

The only time I can ever get it to appear is when i’m on a google page, which isn’t helpful because thats probably the only type of page where I won’t use it

On every other page I’ve tried to use it on, the search for the word doesn’t even appear anymore when I type something into the address bar

Anyone else having the issue ?

Have you try scroll to the bottom once you typed in the word? I notice it won’t show anything if the word you find is not on the page

Yeah, I always scroll down to where it usually is, but nothing. I’ve tried typing words that I’ve Checked are on the page but still doesn’t show up

Isn't that a function found iin the share sheet? Doesn't the search bar act as a internet search window instead?
Maybe iOS 13 is different

It’s been in iOS for a while, i’ll attach a pic as example. I’ve gone to google and searched ‘hello’, so then while on that search page i’ve gone to the address bar and typed ‘hello’ and it finds the the word at any location on that page

Used to work for any page that I was ever on before iOS 13, now it works on nothing but a google search page
