Safari mouse and track pad "page swipes" gone with 10.9?

Gotten very used to being in a forum clicking on a thread then swiping back to the thread list, etc.

Is that now gone?

Working perfectly fine for me.

1 finger swipe for magic mouse and 2 finger swipe with trackpad.

Recommend checking preferences. They seem to have to added a fair amount of gesture options.

It works but if you ever notice a tab in safari hanging from a back swipe, the only cure is a reboot...you can kill the tab but once it starts it will keep happening until you reboot.

It's still there. For some reason, Mavericks disabled the gesture on my Mac Mini at work. Check the Mouse prefpane in System Preferences.

Thanks for all the suggestions.

Cinder6, the check of the Mouse Preference Pane did the trick! The box had become unchecked with the upgrade. Thank you. Thanks all!

Is safari still refreshing when you swipe back/forward a page? I always hated that and its whats keeping me from switching over from chrome.

same issue

in pref pane the mouse swipe with one finger is check.
It was disabled after upgrading to maverick.

Now the on focus tab freezes from time to time in safari after a one finger swipe try to go back in the history. Chromes also is affected so the issue comes and goes suddenly. At the moment i am not able to scroll down with the mouse in this tab - only works with the arrow keys now.
For me this is the most important feature for the magic mouse.
Dang, i have seen this issue is wide spread... thanks Apple :(
