Safari + PayPal - can't log in

I'm using a mid-2014 MacBook Pro on Big Sur and my wife has a brand new MacBook Air M2 on Ventura and neither one of us can log into our PayPal accounts with Safari. Maybe just a PayPal temporary glitch or is there a known issues between PayPal and Safari?

Have you tried on a phone or iPad.
Works fine in Mojave and Safari.

Do you get an error message?

It shows the spinner before you get to the Authenticator (I use Google’s, my wife does not) page but the spinner stops and that’s it, you never go further. I have not tried my iPhone or iPad yet. Chrome works fine.

Such as:

- Firefox
- iCab
- Dissenter
- Opera
