Are there any free plugins that disables auto play of videos in safari? That **** is so annoying.
You don't need a plug-in. Just go to Safari-->Preferences-->Websites-->Never AutoPlay.
Mine is already set to disabled there.for iOS: Settings-->Accessibility-->Motion-->Auto Play Video Previews (set to Off/uncheck/toggle is white)
And that is why I am looking for a plugin ?Mine is also disabled in that fashion and they still play.
Yeah I have already activate safari there with the setting set to off. Still doesn’t work thoAt the bottom of Accessibility, there is an option for Per-App Settings. You can customize Safari to be Off. Maybe try that and see if it overrides/boosts the main setting?
It’s not Safari’s fault - Apple and other browser makers introduce blocks for these, and advertisers develop new ways to circumvent them because they’re greedy cancers upon society.Don’t use safari then. try a different web browser, im sure there are some that don’t auto play.

what you're looking for. strips ads and does html5

Vinegar - Tube Cleaner
Vinegar is a Safari extension that replaces the YouTube player with a minimal HTML video tag. It removes ads, restores picture-in-picture, and keeps videos playing in the background. Note: The "can read information from webpages" text in the permission section is just unfortunate wording...apps.apple.com

Yes. You can just delete the app and re-download it when you need it again.Well shoot. I bought this, and it does work as described. However, it doesn't support 4K resolutions.
Is there any shortcut or way I can quickly toggle this extension "off"?
Yes, all you need to do is delete the app (maybe offload I don’t know if that works or not) and it will turn off. Re download it the next time you need it.Well shoot. I bought this, and it does work as described. However, it doesn't support 4K resolutions.
