Safari popups

I love Safari on I devices, but is there anything we can do about the amount of popups?

I especially hate the ones that redirect you to the app store!

I'm afraid that you will have to either jailbreak your device or wait until iOS 9 is released assuming that you have a compatible device..see link

Even then, I don't think you will be able to block apple pop ups

What type of pop-ups are we talking about here? I know there are redirects to the App Store from some bad ads at times or bad (in one way or another) sites, but I haven't really encountered either in quite a while, so I'm curious.
