OK, I use private browsing usually when shopping because I don't want my parents questioning every purchase I make (seriously, they nit-pick every GD purchase I make, even though it is my money). The only issue is, when I enable Private Browsing in Lion, Safari pretends that it doesn't already have cookies from all the websites I go to already. I have to login every time to Amazon, eBay, MacRumors, etc, and it is really getting annoying. Under Snow Leopard, Tiger, and Leopard, this was not the typical behavior. In those cases, new cookies would not be created, but the old ones could be accessed (just not modified). This even works correctly in Safari 5.1 for SL.

Thankfully I do have my own system, it is just more convenient to use theirs since it is a newer iMac, versus the PowerBook I'm running on a daily basis.

Any Ideas on how to Fix it, or should I start complaining to Apple?
