Safari Problems in 10.6

Every since I upgraded to 10.6 there are some websites that won't open in Safari, I.E. the new yahoo page and expedia. It says my browser is too old. Thoughts on how to fix this problem?

As a side note i've also tried firefox and it tells me the same thing. That my browser is too old.
