My copy of Tiger is not upgrading Safari from ver 1.3 to ver 2.0. I spoke to Applecare and they did not know why, as I was speaking to a Tiger specialist, the battery in my remote phone gave out and I lost the connection. Isn't technology wonderful? Now I will have to start all over again tomorrow. I do not feel up to it today.

Safari Problem Solved - By Applecare

Safari had actually upgraded, however I had previously moved Safari from Applications to the desktop and it was in the dock. So ver 1.3 was in the dock after the upgrade. The Apple guy told me to remove the Safari Icon from the dock and trash the Icon on the desktop. Then open Safari from Applications, and believe it or not, there was ver. 2.0. So, there was nothing wrong with Tiger, just with me. Apple tech support does it again.
