Hi there

This is difficult to explain but here goes...

Up until now I have been using Firefox/Chrome as my default browser but have now switched to Safari to take advantage of some its features across my devices. The only issue I have is when I pinch to zoom the webpage gets "bigger" and I have to scroll across to see the width of the page - on Firefox it zooms in but retains the page contraints which iI find much better. Is there any way of altering this in Safari?

Thanks

Tim

Hi

Thanks but its does exactly the same thing if I use the aA button - i.e. the page expands beyond the screen so I have to scroll right/left or up and down to view the enlarged page - in Firefox the text expands within the current screen size which makes it much easier.

Tim

You can see what I mean with these attachments - the one on the left has been enlarged (chrome), the one on the right is Safari.

Again, try the aA button :

Command + "+" will do the trick.

You can toggle on the "only enlarge text" (found in the dropdown menu "View") if you want the pictures to stay in their original resolution.
