What should I do?

A number of users over at Appletalk have been noticing Safari crashes as well. It might even be related to particular chat forums / software...

does it crash anywhere specific? or are there any trends to when it has been crashing? Or when did it start crashing on opening it? 10.4.7 update time?

On opening-the window appears, but suddenly dissapears. Using 10.4.7.

I'm sleepy and not getting anywhere with the log (although I probably wouldn't, even if I wasn't sleepy), but I'd start by removing all plug ins and add ons, then maybe reset Safari from the Safari menu (if you get a chance).

Failing that, I'd open up a new user account and see if the problems carry over. If they don't then I'd find a file named com.apple.Safari.plist in the Preferences folder and drag it to the Desktop (when Safari is closed). :)

From the log, it looks like your website history is corrupt, and Safari is failing at parsing it (bad error handling on Core Foundation's part.) Try deleting ~/Library/Safari/History.plist
