Nice feature in theory, Find a dozen articles and put them in your reading list. Get onto your flight and start reading while in airplane mode?

No..Safari doesn't save the list, just bookmarks them somewhere else. So you have to reload them.

Nice idea in theory, ruined by the fact they are not auto saved.

I haven't read a lot about reading list and haven't used iOS5, so excuse me if this is a stupid question. You're saying reading list is just a bookmark folder that stays in sync?

Wait, i thought i read it stores the page on your phone for off-line reading. You're saying it doesn't? Isn't that the point of 'reading list'

If it doesn't store the page, it's basically just a bookmark folder with a glorified name

Reading List is a temporary bookmark holder. So you don't need to create a permanent bookmark for a single article.

If you want offline reading use Instapaper - it's brilliant.
