Safari RSS Issue

I have searched around... cant seem to find any help.

I recently reinstalled my OS, performed all updates, and updated data.
I noticed that I cannot use safari to read RSS feeds? It will show the RSS feed if I click on the site's link. HOWEVER- as soon as I add it to my bookmarks- it displays NO ARTICLES? Any thoughts?

For some reason I have to quit Safari and open it again in order for it to load my new RSS bookmarks
