Safari runs more smoothly after installing Flash 9 on Mac Pro(intel macs)?

I just downloaded and installed flash 9 player and plugin for my Mac Pro.

I've noticed it not only makes the flash sites run a lot quicker and smoother but Safari is also more reponsive.

I suppose this is due to flash 9's new support for intel native?

anyone else experienced the same thing?
