When scrolling through lots of pictures, like on flickr or an album on imgur, and safari has been open for a while, my mbpr will freeze solid at random.
I don't mean slow down, I mean freeze entirely. Fans will spin down to slow and it will just sit there. Mouse pointer normally still moves, but nothing else does and the only answer is power off/on.
I try to regularly close safari and re-open it, which seems to keep the issue from popping up, but it is terribly annoying. Until resolution I am using chrome (which has its own issues) and/or firefox.
Any ideas or anyone else have a similar issue?
