Has anyone seen this before? I go to open an iPhone compatible MP4 file, and all it shows is a bunch of garbled text. Then, after about a minute, Safari crashes.

My friend can play it okay on his iPhone and it also works okay in iPhone simulator.

Any ideas?

Safari is downloading that file in just raw text because your webserver is not setup properly. It's not telling Safari the correct MIME type for that mp4 video.

But you said your friend could view it and the simulator could view it... The same URL? Link us please.

Just bought off Craigslist to do some web development testing-- my guess is it's probably jailbroken. I'll probably factory reset and update, as I haven't done that yet.
