Safari slowing shutdown on MBA

Hi does anyone have a problem when shutting down MBA with maverick ,as I Have noticed that when shutting down safari pops up then MBA goes to shutdown and takes 25secs to do so . What can I do to stop this and get the MBA back to shutting down in 3-5 secs again.
