Safari still eating up ram?

Does anybody know if apple fixed the problem with safari still eating up ram when it's open? I was using it today and it showed that it was using 451mb of ram.. Did they fix this yet?

Are you using Safari 3.x or the beta of Safari 4? Try the latter if you're not already, it should be somewhat improved.

Thanks for the quick reply.. I am using the old Safari 3. something.. I didn't upgrade to safari 4 yet.. But thanks for the help..
