iPhone Safari sucking the life out of my 4s battery

They better fix this with iOS 8.0.1 or at most iOS 8.0.2. As I speak I am heading home instead of having fun all because of my battery!

Can you describe your issue? Safari is still my goto browser and it's very low on my battery usage list.

My Safari battery usage is > 50%. Not exactly a good way to measure Safari's absolute battery usage though. A person who uses few other apps besides Safari is always going to report that Safari is sucking away their juice.

Safari works fine, just it keeps using more battery than it should. I have used safari a little bit in the past day mind you! Ever since update to iOS 8 I have seen a big difference in the battery life.
