I noticed IE 8 or whatever it is these days has tabbed browsing. Anyone know if Safari is going to bring these invaluable feature to the table?

Not sure if you're being sarcastic. But Safari already has it for quite a while, you just have to enable it in the preferences.

Is OS X going to integrate a file search function? Windows has had that for a while now, would be nice, anyone know?

And while they're at it they might as well throw in a GUI Windows has had this since 3.1 :D

Safari 3.0 in Leopard will indeed have tabs (as have all versions of Safari since 1.2), but in Leopard tab management will be much improved. Tabs will be able to be reordered, dragged between windows and dragged out into their own new window...

There's a H.264 movie of it all in action here.

uhoh, clickign that link makes me download a file. i'm wary!

Doesn't IE8 also have built-in spyware protection? Why doesn't Apple get on that? For that matter, why are those Mozzers so lazy??? ;)

It's IE7 and it's phishing support you're probably thinking about. FireFox 2 has it already. Safari will probably have it soon.

Right, It has it but like me you might have to enable it.

Go to In Preferences (While in Safari Press Apple + ,) then go Tabs>Enable Tabbed Browsing

Then while browsing press Apple + t to open a new tab :)

God, this whole thread is giving me a headache. Must be the Wi-Fi.

It was a JOKE, sir. ;) I know about phishing support. Why do you need spyware prevention on an operating system that has no spyware? Or for that matter in a Windows browser (Firefox) that doesn't permit the majority of the vectors of the spyware onto the computer? ;)

And P.S. I'm fairly certain that everyone in this thread with the possible exception of the original poster already knew that Safari had tabs, just in case the joke is that far from comprehension.
