This is a rant. And yes, I already filed it through Feedback Assistant — not that it’ll make a difference in Cupertino.
Now look at this screenshot.
See that black line running across the bottom of the tab? That’s not the active tab. No, no — that bold visual indicator actually means the tab is inactive.
And the current tab? Technically, it has a border — a faint, wispy outline that looks like it accidentally rendered at 20% opacity. Blink and you’ll miss it. It’s so subtle it feels like Apple intended you not to notice it. This is supposed to signal “active”? It looks more like a rendering glitch than a design choice.
Did I miss some hidden setting in Safari Preferences?
