Safari Tabs glitch?

Guys, all,of a sufldden, when I open Safari, it opens on my first tab I have open rather than the last tab/page I was on.

I have about 50 pages open, but when I open Safari, no matter what page I'm on, it'll open only on the first tab. This never happened before and it would open on the last page I was using.

Is this a glitch?

Huh. That only happens to me when I switch tab groups. Otherwise, it opens on the last page I was on.

Thanks Thing is, I don't even know how to change tab groups 😂

I'm really baffled and frustrated at this.

Sorry guys, I've scoured the Webb to find a fix for this but not having any luck.

Can I please pick your brains on this to try and find a fix?
