So far, I’ve come to the conclusion that MacOS 26 and Liquid Glass is grotesque. But whatever.. I'll live with it. Except..how does one get rid of those ENORMOUS squares of Recently Saved at the top Bookmarks menu? Do we have to live with that now? This whole new OS feels like Fisher Price was their designer.

Yes!!! I would love to get rid of the Recently Saved tiles too but cannot find a way. I thought about using Profiles to at least hide them in work/home scenarios but it appears that Recently Saved items are not specific to one browser profile.

They show up in Safari in iPad as well.

It really is obnoxious and I have no idea why Apple would place it on top instead of the bottom or even give the option to remove it in the menu almost besides it.

Do you spend a lot of time looking at your bookmarks page? To me, it shows my saved pages quicker.

It's an unstructured list of recent saves, most of which I don't have interest in most of the time.

It's a bit like Recents on Finder (or Recent Items on Windows Explorer) - something I always turn off as it's useless to me 99%+ of the time.

It's a list of websites that you have added to the reading list aka saved. If you don't want to see them, perhaps don't add them. I quite like to see the most recent 'saved' websites, as I've saved them for a reason.

lol, this is really bothering me. I don't need a "recently saved" list, there is already a "Reading List" under "Saved". We should at least be able to hide "Recently Saved" from view. And hy the vertical row in a narrow sidebar. And why the enormous icons.
