Whenever quitting out of Safari on my girlfriend's PowerBook 1.67, it literally takes 2-3 minutes to fully close. What's the deal? I've tried emptying the cache and clearing history but still no dice. I've never had this problem on any other Mac.

Thanks in advance.

No Safari add-ons or plugins, no other users so I can't really test if it works on them and don't really want to add new accounts.

Mine did this for the first few times when I used it (fresh out the box) but rectified itself. No idea what caused it.

This has never happenned to me, but I would try going to your-gf's-User->Library->Preferences and move the com.apple.safari.plist elsewhere.

Then try opening and closing safari and see if it is any faster.
