Am I the only one experiencing AWFUL text box behavior on iOS on this forum? I thought those bugs had finally been taken care of. This reminds me of the awful text editing bugs in Safari text views in iOS 9 through 12-something (late 12.x is when it seemed to be mostly resolved).
I can’t select text correctly or even get the edit mode most of the time. The background color changes from this pale blue to white and even though I’m supposed to be in edit mode, I can’t edit. Or I CAN edit but not place the cursor.
I know there’s a continuing bug on ALL sites in Safari where a tab has to be reloaded to enable double tapping on a word in a text view to act as a selection, because it gets stuck in only affecting page zoom.
