Hey. This is probably a simple fix, but I can't find anything.
Some webpages are turning up with the same font. It's the font named Snell Roundhand.
Error pages, eBay information pages... stuff like that. It will disregard my font selection and go with that one. It's REALLY annoying. Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!:apple:

(scratches head in bewilderment) I don't seem to have that font. Can you post a screen shot or something? Generally, with font issues, it's advised to run the font validation from Font Book.

There's 3 links. I didn't know how to directly upload them. How do I validate the font?

My work has that site blocked so can't view the images currently. For future reference, when doing a post there's an attachment manager that lets you upload files directly.

To validate fonts. It was originally written for Tiger, but it still applies for Leopard.

Is it JUST in Safari? If yes, check the following:

In your Safari menu, View->Text Encoding, what is selected?

In Safari preferences, in the Appearance tab, what fonts are selected and what is your default encoding?

Also in Safari preferences, in the Advanced tab, what do you have any style sheets selected?

If it's FF and/or other browsers, angelwatt's probably on a more correct track.

.tiff file. Sorry. It's just in Safari, and it's Western (Mac OS Roman). So I have no idea what is wrong. I'll try that link you gave me.

Can you give a link for one of the pages this happens? One thing to check in Safari, on the Appearance tab in Preferences, what is set for the Standard Font? And what did you mean in your first post about your "font selection?" How are you selecting a font?

That's what I meant. The Standard font. It's Helvetica 16.

It's all that font in the description area.

Have you tried to see what happens if you disable the font in Font Book? It's under the Edit menu when you have the font selected.
