Perhaps this might be posted in a better section of the forum, but since I frequent this part of the forum the most, I wanted to ask this.

My Safari TopSites seem to change at random. Usually what is ultimately displayed are the last few sites I visited, when I open safari. I do know the method of setting the top sites, and never had a problem until SL and now in Lion.

I have the most current version of Safari, as well.

I have used the method of removing the TopSites.plist file, to remove a corrupt library, but that works only several times and then it returns "back to top sites changing again". I have also reset Safari before.

Wondering if anyone else uses another solution that I could try?

Thanks

On the TopSites page click the Edit button in the lower corner, then click the pin buttons to "Lock" sites into place.

Keep in mind if you use the reset Safari button and choose Reset TopSites that will undo your pinned sites.
