I've heard a lot of people talking about the two-finger swipe in Safari to go back or forward a page. I am running a 2008 MB that does not have multi-touch but seeing as this is a two-finger gesture (which is supported on my computer) why do I not have the option to use it? I can scroll horizontally with two fingers...

It seems a little inconsistent for me. Sometimes when I try to side swipe back a page, it just activates horizontal scrolling and then snaps back. Other times it will work. Anybody have any tips to differentiate the gestures??

Do you have an older macbook without multi-touch? If so, how did you enable the two-finger gesture feature in Safari?
