Hi All,

Since upgrading to macOS High Sierra, every time I log into a website I selected as part of my bookmarks, the "favicon" is always on, and I would like to know if there is a chance (maybe a terminal command?) to have all my bookmarks with the generic globe icon.

Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.

Thank you!
Mark

odd, i haven't seen a favicon in year what browser? safari? & if so, are you running any extensions?

Yes, using Safari with no extensions. I cannot rid of the favicons. It seems that the folder which used to contained a webicon cache has been either removed or replaced by another.

Thank you for your response, fisherking.

i see them when i click on a folder in the favorites bar; but they're not in the address window. are you seeing them in the address window??
