Safari 2.0.4 on ny Core Solo Mac mini (OS X 10.4.7) will open for me, then unexpectedly quits. What's wrong and how to fix it?

It's choking while reading preferences, so try trashing them (or moving them out of the way).


Under your home folder, the usual suspect is Library/Preferences/com.apple.Safari.plist

There are a few plist files kept under Library/Safari , and history.plist looks like a likely candidate given that history-related functions are in the dump.

Everybody has there preference. I am a safari user myself. He did not ask what browser he should use, he asked how to fix the problem.
