When Safari 6 was released, one of the features many people complained about was the unified search bar. Whereas typing "macrumors" before would automatically take you to macrumors.com, it now took you to a google search for macrumors. I realize we're at Safari 7.0.5, but the unified search bar is still there.
Its been a while, and I don't know if many people have figured this out (I only recently noticed it myself). But you can now use 2 shortcuts to go directly to a website without typing out the ".com" afterward.
1) type 'macrumors" and then hit control+enter
or
2) type "macrumors/" and hit enter
Sorry if this is old news. Hopefully it'll come of help to someone out there.
