guys
every time i update my safari from the software update function
safari goes slower and slower
before i do the update everything was perfect and when i updated safari, it began to move very slowly

can anybody here tell me the reason?
should i update safari when it's possible?

i hope i was clearly
thank you

Go ahead and update... trouble shoot any problems from there

You can reset Safari to clean out your caches, etc.

thnx for the reply
you know i bought my imac a month a go and i've just started to use a mac
i can't explay the reason why this is happening
it's very bizarre
how can i reset safari??

oooh
no improvement
did you ever have the same problem when you updated safari?
which version do you have now?
sorry for the questions but it's very annoying
i have a 24Mbps broadband and it seems like i use only 100Kpbs

It can take a couple of restarts before it works properly. There is no valid reason for this, I have had the same situation for the past couple of updates.

Nothing to worry about.

I think you should check what your real connection speed is, from what you're saying I highly doubt you're connected at 24MBits.

Maybe also try speetest.net see what you get.

I'm on 1.5Mbits on an iMac G4 and Safari 4.0.1 is speedy.

i don't know if this results are pleasant
i only know a few things about internet and i can't understand if this is ok
what exactly is latency/ping?

ohh
i found the best results i've ever had
check this and compare it with my curently results which are in the previous post

and the ping was in 28 ms !!!!!
