Since updating to the newest version of Safari about a week ago, I have had so many problems with my Mac. Quite often when I try to quit Safari, I get the spinning ball and the os is unable to quit the session. It's my worst experience as a Mac owner in the past year.

Is anyone else having this problem?

repair permissions. I don't know why everyone is having issues with this update, it went fine for me and all the computers I admin.

Would you happen to have any extensions or plugins installed in Safari? As far as I know there aren't any supported plugins other than some codecs, so breaking plugins is pretty common.

I've repaired the permissions, but that doesn't help. I'm starting to use Firefox more often now as a result of this problem, but the update seems to have affected more than just the browser.
