Why is there now an entire useless line telling me which tab group I’m in? And tapping it just has the exact same functionality as the tab button (bottom right corner)… it simply displays the open tabs in the current group. Useless and a waste of space!

Wtf is this for and how do I get rid of it?? I can’t stand having less screen real estate, but especially on web pages.

Sample photo attached.

Since this does go away if you scroll just a little bit, I really don't see that much of an issue. At least not enough, to get riled up about it. 😉

Not when so many websites use their own headers/footers/containers which don’t let you scroll the full site itself, but only the interior portion.

So I’ll stay riled up 😉

I didn't found any website where it doesn't go away when scrolling.🤔 Could you maybe post a link, so I can see it for myself?

Here’s one example. I encounter this rather often and it has always been annoying. Now even more so.

Okay, I understand now what you mean. But you can select "Hide Toolbar" under the "Aa" in the address bar to gain more space (in case you didn't know already).

And then I lose my bottom bar with the tab button and can’t quickly navigate anymore. Tapping the bottom doesn’t bring up the controls like it normally would - you have to tap the top bar instead. And in the case of these games, it awkwardly pushes the keyboard all the way to the very bottom.

Way too much hassle to workaround a new useless “feature” that doesn’t need to be there, since the same button already exists at the bottom.
