Safari vs Firefox - YouTube 4K CPU usage

Hi everyone!
I have a curiosity: on my 5,1 Mac Pro with X5690 and RX6600 running Monterey, I've noticed a fairly higher CPU usage when watching 4K YouTube videos in Safari (and Chrome) vs Firefox.
I have about 25-30% CPU usage in Safari and 15-20% in Firefox. Why is that? Is there any way to lower CPU usage in Safari?

Have you checked that GPU acceleration is working correctly?

Yes it is, as reported by VideoProc and used by a lot of applications (including FCP)
