Hello:

I may be referred to ask on a Google forum, but thought some of you may know. I typically use Safari, but keep reading that Google Chrome is a better browser. I installed it, and I use Little Snitch 3 to monitor my connections. What I find out is shocking, but I'm not sure whether it's worth concern.

When I use Safari, I go to a website, Little Snitch 3 (LS3) pops up once, maybe twice, asking if it can make that connection.

However, every time I go to a website with Chrome, I have to allow 20-30 different connections. When I go to this site, it wants to connect to LinkedIn, Facebook, etc., and this website its trying to access now called http://choices.truste.com. I can conceivably see why it wants to connect to Facebook because logging in by Facebook is an option, although I have not elected (and do not elect) to log in via Facebook. But twitter? I don't even have a twitter account, why the need to connect to twitter? I went to Truste's website, and it's a website security site. But why?
