Hi guys,

I noticed that when i surf net using internet explorer 8 (Bootcamp window 7) it is so much faster than safari on 13" MBP. Anyone experience the same thing.

in which way is it faster? image loading? flash files loading? or...?

my experience with IE has always been unpleasant, especially the tabs. they take extremely long to open, load and switch

when loading the macrumors, yhaoo and any sites.
The IE seems to finish loading so much faster.

Safari 5 feels a bit slower to me than the older Safari did, but I don't use IE8 at all. Chrome on bootcamp is a fair bit faster than safari on the mac side though. IE8 may feel faster due to Windows 7's interface being snappier than OSX.

Can tell the difference easily.
Wonder why apple still can claim that safari is the fastest web browser:mad:

Safari is so much faster than IE here... it ain't even funny.

Oh, and it also supports.. you know.. current day web technologies.
