Safari with Tubesock

I bit and drug the Tubesock icon into Safari thinking it would be handy but I don't want that black rectangle at the Bookmark page. I deleted it from the Bookmarks Bar but the big rectangle is still there!! Can someone help me get rid of that monstrosity, please?

try resetting Safari.

I did that, then did a restart ---- it's still there.
