Just upgraded to Panther and now Safari won't download webpages, period.
Portions of the HTML will download, however no images will load. Tried dumping
my prefs, but no go. Especially frustrating because my connection is fast and IE works fine, but my bookmarks are all in Safari. Help!

Have you been to Safari>Preferences>Appearance and made sure that the "Display Images" box is checked?

Empty Cache? Reset Safari? You'll lose your history and cookies, but not your bookmarks. Worth a go.

I had hte same problem. It only went away after i did a reinstall of the os. i cleaned the hard drive and then did a clean install of osx.3. Its been working fine ever since.

I dont know why it happend, at the time i thought it was something to do with downloading a fileshare programme called bitorrent.

Just try a clean install. i backed up my data on my ipod witha drag and drop.
