I run Yosemite on my MBA and I just installed the recent update. Now when I try to launch Safari it shows up on the Dock and on the upper left, but the main window doesn't populate on the screen.

If I hover the mouse on the dock or the name Safari on top it shows the lovely pinwheel. My only option is to Force Quit.

Other than rebooting, I don't know what to try.

Thoughts?

UPDATED: It has now opened all of the way, but (again) it is loading trying to open every single bookmark page from my Favorites list in its own tab. It pinwheels and ultimately has to be forced closed.

This is the 3rd time in the last 10 days that Safari wants to launch like this.

Where holding the SHIFT key down when launching Safari worked the first time, it hasn't made a difference since.

This is really irritating. Does anyone know why this might be happening or what an actual solution might be?
