Safari - Youtube full screen opens in new workspace

Hi,

I'm on latest Mac OS and Safari, didn't change any settings lately, and suddenly now when I click on full screen option on YT, it opens video in new workspace, and it's much slower.

Any ideas what could be the reason?

What exactly is "much slower"?

What exactly is "much slower"?

I mean normal full screen is a bit faster than how it is now, where I see the animation of it going full screen and ending up on new workspace.
