Can anybody deal with Safari's Zoom?
It works fluidly in 6, renders great AA but I don't know if there is any way to get a useful kind of zooming.
All other browser rerender which is especially important with all Websites that are designed with adaptive width. If the Safari Window is over the full screen a website might spread the whole width. Now after zooming the max width is not supposed to be spread out of the display. It should keep the window max and just render bigger.
Making the Safari Window smaller doesn't fix the problem. You can only zoom in at parts of the website but cannot simple zoom the whole thing.
Also Chrome remembers all zoom levels for individual websites.
Opera remembers it for current sites and allows global settings and many easy short cuts.
Even IE remembers a zoom level.
Safari doesn't not even if you click a link on a site. Is that just crappy Safari usability as always or is there some work around. In ML Safari is definitely the smoothest browser but if Usability gets ever worse, how do all the people do it that apparently use Safari on OSX. I cannot imagine people simple suck such a major feature up. Not with all those websites out there in the funniest sizes, layouts and highres screens.
