Guys, I tried to update Safari however I didnt see an update feature in safari. So I went to the Apple support and downloaded the new version of safari. I deleted my old safari (v48 i think) and downloaded the new Safari (v51). However when i try and open safari, it keep on crashing. Does anyone have a similar problem with Safari v51??
Thanks

Never mind, seemed to have solved it after going to finder and deleting all the remains of safari (even the bookmarks list :( ) but that seemed to work.

i think it might have been your alias in the
finder.

once my mail application would crash before
it even loaded.....i deleted the alias in the doc and it worked.

theres an update to the public beta?

A few days after the original version was released, a new version was released. Go to Apple, or versiontracker.com to download it-- it fixed a couple of rendering problems on my machine at least... i'm awaiting the next one, the features keep rolling out :)

i believe that was listed as one of the bugs fixed. i did not have this problem with 48, but i have not had it with 51 either, for whatever that's worth.
