hiya i have got the iphone and when i use google maps i see in the bottom right hand corner there is a car button does any one know what this is for because it is locked. thanks alot

Not sure what your question has to do with Safari, but anyway, the car button is for getting driving directions.

Actually the car button triggers traffic conditions (on major highways). The arrows button is for driving directions.

Nope. The iphone does not have GPS capabilities so it can't tell you where to turn unfortunately.

I don't think Google has added traffic yet in the UK (not sure where you are from) but thats what the buttons for.

Doh, I knew that. For some reason I thought the OP was talking about the arrows, despite the clear description of what button he was talking about.
